The Palm Beach Post is looking for a summer sports Intern for 2020. The candidate must be a self-starter who is ready to work hard to cover the exciting South Florida sports scene by producing multimedia content for print and digital.

You will have the opportunity to cover sports events and write features on everything from Miami Dolphins training camp, to Miami Marlins and Florida State League baseball games, to summer sports camps run by professional and college athletes who live in Palm Beach County.

You also will play an important role in helping write our high school football special section previews.

Of course, you will be expected to write breaking news if something happens — and there is always something happening in Palm Beach County.

Besides reporting and writing, you will be expected to shoot photos and videos for your stories, distribute your stories on social media and pitch story ideas and projects.

This job will require working nights, weekends and holidays.
