We have a highly motivated sports staff with high standards and a strong connection to each other and our community.
We work in in a vibrant, multimedia newsroom located in the heart of Oklahoma City, one of the nation’s top merging mid-sized cities.
The ideal candidate will:
- Produce engaging infographics and illustrations. Lead and contribute to award-winning special sections and projects for print and digital.
- Work collaboratively with reporters, assigning editors, other designers and artists, photographers and web producers.
- Have experience with and/or a yearning to learn web design and interactive tools that best display our content digitally.
Strong copy editing skills, news judgment, a command of typographic and design principles are a must.
The ideal candidate will be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite applications (primarily InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator).
