The APSE executive committee will vote this week on Atlanta as the host city for the 2019 APSE summer conference. If approved, the conference would be held at the Omni CNN Center.
The proposed dates are Sunday, June 16 through Wednesday, June 19. The room rate should fall in the range of $169-$175.
The Omni is located within walking distance to some of the city’s main attractions: the College Football Hall of Fame, the Children’s Museum, the World of Coca-Cola Museum, CNN Center, Centennial Olympic Park, the National Center for Civil and Human Rights and the Georgia Aquarium, as well as numerous restaurants and bars.
The MARTA light rail system runs directly from the airport to the CNN Center at a cost of $2.50.
