Terry Taylor, sports editor for the Associated Press for the last 21 years, will retire Nov. 15, ending a 36-year career with the AP.

Taylor's retirement was announced in a memo by AP managing editor Lou Ferrara.

"Terry’s influence and leadeship has been felt throughout the sports news industry, from APSE to the IOC Press Commission and in numerous sports access battles over the years," Ferrara wrote. "Her retirement is well earned and deserved."
