I’m working on a piece about the startup of the pro leagues and the decisions that beat writers and editors now face out of concern for their well being and the well being of family members. The focus will be baseball. I’d like to speak with a few beat writers who’ve elected not to go to the ballpark. And editors who are navigating the issue.
