  • Chris Cwik undertook a senior editor role with Yahoo sports. 
  • Justin Epley took over as sports editor at the News Herald in Morganton, North Carolina. He replaces Paul Schenkel, who resigned. 
  • Brad Fauber left his sports reporter role at the Northern Virginia Daily in Strasburg, Virginia. He took a media relations coordinator position at Shenandoah University. 
  • Andre Fernandez became deputy sports editor of the Miami Herald. 
  • Noah Fleischman became the James Madison beat reporter for the Daily News-Record in Harrisonburg, Virginia. 
  • Huntyr Schwegman took the sports editor role at The Chanute (Kansas) Tribune. 
  • Chris Garagiola joined the Arizona Diamondbacks radio broadcast team. 
  • James Hinchcliffe joined NBC as a motorsports analyst. 
  • Adam Hunsucker became editor of Tiger Rag. He previously covered LSU for The Advertiser in Lafayette, Louisiana. 
  • Andy Kimball started covering the Illinois Fighting Illini for Lee Enterprises. 
  • Jared McMasters left his sports editor role at the Chanute (Kansas) Tribune. He joined Red Ventures as an associate editor. 
  • Sam Mellinger departed from being a Kansas City Star sports columnist to join the Kansas City Royals as vice president of communications. 
  • Akshay Mirchandani became head of the audience development/social team at Yahoo Sports. 
  • Colton Pool joined Bet MGM as a web content writer for the NFL and NBA. He was previously sports editor at the Bozeman (Montana) Chronicle. 
  • Rick Ryan retired as a sports reporter at the Charleston (West Virginia) Gazette-Mail. 
  • Peter L. Scamardo II took an assistant sports editor role at the Victoria (Texas) Advocate. 
  • Scott Spruill became sports editor at the Yakima (Washington) Herald-Republic. He replaces Jerrel Swenning
  • Sam Stuve announced he joined the Echo Press in Alexandria, Minnesota, as a sports reporter.

  • Dan Wussow took the assistant sports editor role at Sauk Valley Media in Sterling, Illinois. 
  • Andy Yamashita left his sports reporter position at the Indianapolis Star. 
  • Danny Zederman became the director of content at WMVP-AM 1000 in Chicago. 
  • The Athletic added Torrey Hart as a staff editor. Kevin Kurz started covering the New York Islanders for The Athletic after previously covering the San Jose Sharks. Corey Masiak went from covering the New Jersey Devils to the San Jose Sharks for The Athletic. 
  • The Los Angeles Times moved Jack Harris to cover the Los Angeles Dodgers. Jorge Castillo went from covering the Dodgers to an enterprise role. 
  • ESPN’s The Undefeated added Erik Horne and Mike McCray as senior editors. Horne was previously at The Athletic. Danny Barletta joined ESPN as a production assistant after previously being a sports writer at the Daily Chief-Union in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. 
  • Rivals added Eric Hansen and Tyler James to cover Notre Dame. 
  • Sports Illustrated saw the departures of Chris Chavez and Stanley Kay. Chavez started the website Citius Mag. Kay went to Chicago magazine. 
  • The Sporting News added Marc Lancaster as senior editor for trending news and Daniel Yanofsky as a combat editor.
