• Jim Barrero started as a multiplatform editor for the Los Angeles Times sports department. 
• Jason Beede became the UCF sports reporter for the Orlando Sentinel. 
• Deon Blanchard joined the Monroe Journal in Tupelo, Mississippi, as sports editor. 
• Michael Cohen started covering the Michigan Wolverines for The Detroit Free Press. 
• Adam Cole took a sports reporter role at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette in Little Rock, Arkansas.
• Kelsey Conway joined the Cincinnati Enquirer to cover the Bengals. 
• Corey Davis became assistant sports editor at the Palatka (Florida) Daily News. 
• Ted Davis retired as Milwaukee Bucks radio broadcaster. 
• Will Denner took a sports reporter role at the Mail Tribune in Medford, Oregon. 
• Alec Dietz joined The Chronicle in Centralia, Washington, to cover high school sports.
• Dustin Dopirak took the Indiana Hoosiers reporter position with the Indianapolis Star and The Bloomington (Indiana) Herald-Times. 
• David Dorsey left his role covering sports with The News-Press in Fort Myers, Florida. 
• Bennett Durando took the Auburn sports reporter role at the Montgomery (Alabama) Advertiser.  
• Carson Field joined the Abilene (Texas) Reporter-News as a sports reporter. He was previously at the Powell (Wyoming) Tribune. 
• Colton Foster took the sports editor role at the Huntsville (Texas) Item. 
• Robby General became the Ball State reporter for the Muncie (Indiana) Star Press. 
• Jessaca Giglio took a new role at The News & Observer as planning and enterprise editor. She previously worked in the sports department. 
• Steve Gress left his sports editor role at the Corvallis (Oregon) Gazette-Times and Albany (Oregon) Democrat-Herald to become a page budgeter/copy editor for the publications. 
• Quinton Hamilton took a sports reporter role at the Modesto (California) Bee. 
• Hallie Hart joined the Stillwater (Oklahoma) News Press to cover Oklahoma State. 
• Alyssa Hertel started covering recruiting for the Des Moines Register. 
• Mike Hutton became a staff writer for Irish Breakdown. 
• Devin Jackson became a sports digital content producer for NOLA.com. 
• Seth Kinker became a high school sports reporter for The Topeka (Kansas) Capital-Journal. 
• Jason Kirk joined For the Win to cover college football.

• Beth Maiman took the role of associate director of NCAA coverage with SB Nation.
• Jared McMasters became sports editor at The Chanute (Kansas) Tribune.  
• Brett McMurphy shifted to the Action Network to cover college football. He was previously with Stadium. 
• McLain Moberg became sports editor at the Manistee (Michigan) News Advocate. 
• Morgan Moriarty joined Bleacher Report to cover college football. 
• Gus Morris took a sports reporter role at The Press Democrat in Santa Rosa, California. He was previously with the Marin Independent Journal in San Rafael, California. 
• Conor O’Neil became the publisher of Deacons Illustrated. 
• Jeremy Orr took the sports editor role at the Watseka (Illinois) Times Republic. 
• Daniel Oyefusi became the Miami Dolphins reporter for the Miami Herald. 
• Joe Parker left his role covering sports for the Milton Herald in Alpharetta, Georgia. 
• Ron Poniewasz Jr. became sports editor at the New Castle (Pennsylvania) News. 
• Victor Prieto joined FOX5 Atlanta as a sports producer. 
• Steven Ruiz started working for The Ringer covering the NFL as a writer and podcaster. 
• Armando Salguero joined Outkick as a senior NFL writer. He was previously at the Miami Herald. 
• Lauren Smith shifted beats to covering the Washington Huskies for the Tacoma (Washington) News Tribune.
• Joe Staley started working as an NFL analyst for NBC Sports Bay Area. 
• Jackson Stone joined the Quad-City Times in Davenport, Iowa, to cover high school sports. 
• Rob Tate accepted the sports editor role at The Courier in Conroe, Texas. 
• Gerald Thomas III took the sports editor role at the Bryan County News and Coustal Courier in Hinesville, Georgia. 
• Hunter Tickel became a sports writer at the Dubois County Herald in Jasper, Indiana. He was previously sports editor at the Perry County News. 
• Austin Turner took a sports reporter role at the Sedona (Arizona) Red Rock News. 
• Parth Upadhyaya started covering sports for the Beaver County (Pennsylvania) Times. 
• Alex VandenHouten joined the Post Bulletin in Rochester, Minnesota, covering sports. He left his role at the Winona (Minnesota) Daily News. 
• Brandon Veale became sports editor of the Duluth (Minnesota) News Tribune. 
• Kamryn Walker joined the Independent Mail in Anderson, South Carolina, to cover high school sports. 
• Eric Wallace joined The Palm Beach Post in West Palm Beach, Florida, as deputy sports editor. 
• Stephen Whitaker took the sports editor role at the Pleasanton (Texas) Express. 
• Austin J. White became editor of sports at The Portland (Oregon) Tribune. 
• Stephan Wiebe took a college basketball reporter role at the Lewiston (Idaho) Tribune
• Evan Wiederspohn joined Prep Hoops Washington. He left his role covering sports with the Lewiston (Idaho) Tribune. 
• Cameron Wolfe began working at NFL Network as a reporter. He was previously with ESPN. 
• Kyle Wood started working for Sports Illustrated covering betting and fantasy sports. 
• John Wright became sports editor at the Murray (Kentucky) Ledger & Times. 
• Luke Zahlmann took the preps sports editor role at the Colorado Springs (Colorado) Gazette. 
• The Athletic added Chris Branch as a staff writer. David Ubben shifted to covering college football nationally. Mike Vorkunov went from covering the New York Knicks to an NBA business reporter. Ben Fowlkes, Blake Murphy and Ethan Strauss left their sports reporter roles at The Athletic. Tori McElhaney left her role to join the Atlanta Falcons. 
• The Daily Herald in Everett, Washington, named Chad Davis as sports editor. Zac Hereth joined The Daily Herald as sports reporter/copy editor. 
• ESPN added Robert Griffin III as a football analyst. LZ Granderson left ESPN with the end of his contract. Rachel Nichols and ESPN parted ways. Jackie MacMullen retired from ESPN. Max Kellerman departed from “First Take.” Deuce McAllister became a college football analyst for ESPN. Alex Smith became a football studio analyst for ESPN. 
• The Gadsden (Alabama) Times added Ehsan Kassim to cover sports. He was previously with the Grants Pass (Oregon) Daily Courier. Teddy Couch left his role covering sports. 
• NBC added Drew Brees and Maria Taylor to “Football Night in America.” 
• On3 added Alex Byington as managing editor of its national sports/news desk. Justin Hokanson joined Auburn Live and On3 to cover college sports. Jeffrey Lee became senior recruiting editor for Auburn Live On3. 
• The Philadelphia Inquirer added Gina Mizell as a 76ers reporter. Olivia Reiner started covering the Flyers; she was previously with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel covering the Green Bay Packers. 
• The Spokesman-Review in Spokane, Washington, added Colton Clark as the Washington State reporter. Theo Lawson moved from covering Washington State to Gonzaga. Clark was previously at the Lewiston (Idaho) Tribune. 
• The Sun Journal in Lewiston, Maine, named Wil Kramlich as assistant sports editor and Adam Robinson joined as a sports reporter. 
• The Topeka (Kansas) Capital-Journal hired Jordan Guskey to cover Kansas sports. He previously covered Ball State for the Muncie (Indiana) Star Press. Brent Maycock left his role covering Kansas. 
• Josina Anderson joined USA Today Sports+ as a senior NFL insider. 
• Jim Ayello left his role covering the Colts for the Indianapolis Star. 
• Patricia Babcock departed from her role covering sports for The Daily Herald in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
• Rachel Bonnetta started contributing sports betting content to NFL Network and NFL.com. 
• Rob Boone joined The Charlotte (North Carolina) Observer to cover the Hornets. 
• Beth Bragg retired as sports editor at the Anchorage (Alaska) Daily News.
• Lisa Byington was named the full-time TV play-by-play announcer for the Milwaukee Bucks. 
• Scott Chasen left his sports reporter role with 247Sports.
• Mary Clarke became a staff writer with For The Win.
• Caroline Darney took the managing editor role at Bet For The Win. She was previously with SB Nation. 
• David Driver left his role as sports editor of the Daily News-Record in Harrisonburg, Virginia. 
• Matthew Fairburn moved to covering the New England Patriots for The Athletic. He previously covered the Buffalo Bills. 
• Aaron Ferguson received a promotion to night sports editor at The Times of Northwest Indiana. 
• Brandon Folsom joined Hometownlife in Novi, Michigan, as a sports reporter. He previously covered high school sports at The Times Herald in Port Huron, Michigan.
• Chris Freud left the sports editor role at the Vail (Colorado) Daily. 
• Justin Frommer took a high school sports reporter role at The South Bend (Indiana) Tribune. He was previously with The Stockton (California) Record. 
• Colin Gay joined Scarlet and Gray Report to cover Ohio State. He previously covered sports for Hometownlife in Novi, Michigan.
• Joseph Halm became sports editor at the St. Tammany (Louisiana) Farmer. 
• Jim Henry took the sports editor role at the Pittsburg (Kansas) Morning Sun. He was previously with The Joplin (Missouri) Globe.
• Brooks Holton joined the USA Today Network as a digital producer. 
• Jim Hughson retired from broadcasting hockey and baseball for Sportsnet. 
• Adam Hunsucker started covering LSU for Gannett. He previously covered Louisiana-Monroe and high school sports for The News-Star in Monroe, Louisiana. 
• Chris Johnston joined the Toronto Star as an NHL Insider. He was previously with Sportsnet.ca. 
• Thomas Kendziora became sports editor at the Enterprise-Journal in McComb, Mississippi.
• Matthew Knaub joined the Reading (Pennsylvania) Eagle as a sports reporter. 
• Caleb Lynn took the sports editor role at the Perry County News in Tell City, Indiana. 
• Stephen McDaniel joined the Owatonna (Minnesota) People’s Press as a high school sports reporter. 
• Ryan McFadden took a sports reporter role at the Baltimore Sun.
• Shawn McFarland started covering high school sports for the Dallas Morning News. He previously was at the Hartford (Connecticut) Courant. 
• Bryce McKinnis joined the Tulsa (Oklahoma) World as a sports copy editor and reporter. 
• Jake McNeal started serving as sports editor for the Ellensburg (Washington) Daily Record. 
• Jeff Metcalfe announced his retirement from covering Arizona State for The Arizona Republic in Phoenix. Metcalfe spent 36 years at The Arizona Republic. 
• Gus Morris joined The Press Democrat of Santa Rosa, California, as a sports reporter/multimedia analyst.
• Ashley Nicole Moss took a digital hosting role at Sports Illustrated. 
• Jim O’Connell retired as a sports copy editor at the Colorado Springs (Colorado) Gazette. 
• Hailey Palmer accepted a sports editor role at the Cascadia Daily News in Bellingham, Washington. 
• Jeff Papworth took the sports editor role at the Tecumseh (Michigan) Herald. 
• Aryanna Prasad became the associate sports editor at FanSided. 
• Ryan G. Reynolds received a promotion to news director at the Evansville Courier & Press. He was previously sports editor. 
• Sonny Sachdeva moved to be a staff writer with Sportsnet. 
• Doric Sam became a breaking news writer for Bleacher Report. 
• Ethan Sands took a role with The News-Star in Monroe, Louisiana, covering high school sports, Louisiana Tech, and Grambling State sports.
• Trevor Scales joined Bally Sports South and Southeast as pre- and post-game host for the Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Braves. 
• John Schlegel joined the San Diego Union-Tribune sports desk as a quality editor. 
• John Steppe became the Iowa Hawkeyes football reporter for The Gazette in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. 
• Steve Thomas retired as a sports reporter at the Bismarck (North Dakota) Tribune. He started at the Tribune in 1970.
• Leah Vann took a job covering LSU football and baseball at The Advocate in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was previously at The Gazette in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. 
• Maggie Vanoni started covering UConn women’s basketball for Hearst. 
• JD Vaughn joined the Greenville (Tennessee) Sun as assistant sports editor. He was previously with the Standard Banner in Jefferson City, Tennessee. 
• Reece Waddell left his role covering high school sports at the Denton (Texas) Record-Chronicle.
• Andrew Wilson joined the West Virginia News in Clarksburg, West Virginia, as a sports multimedia journalist. He was previously at the Daily Chief Union in Sandusky, Ohio. 
• The Athletic moved Jeff Howe to the role of NFL national insider from previously covering the New England Patriots. Matthew Fairburn moved to cover the New England Patriots after previously covering the Buffalo Bills. Fred Katz went from covering the Washington Wizards to covering the New York Knicks. 
• ESPN put Alaina Getzenberg on the Buffalo Bills beat and Marcel Louis-Jacques on the Miami Dolphins beat. Louis-Jacques previously covered the Bills for ESPN. Getzenberg was previously with The Charlotte Observer covering the Carolina Panthers. Royce Young left his role covering the NBA for ESPN to take a role with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Josh Capers joined ESPN as an editor for NFL Nation, and he was previously sports editor at the Clarion Ledger in Jackson, Mississippi. Malika Andrews was named host of “NBA Today.” Max Kellerman was named host of “This Just In.” Rachel Ullrich joined ESPN as an MLB editor. Jamal Collier joined ESPN to cover the NBA. 
• The Houston Rockets named Craig Ackerman as TV play-by-play broadcaster and Ryan Hollins as TV analyst. Katie Nolan parted ways with ESPN. 
• The Knoxville (Tennessee) News-Sentinel added Emily Adams to cover high school sports and Cora Hall to cover Tennessee Lady Vols sports.
• At the Mercury News in San Jose, California, Sharon Martin became night sports editor. She was previously with the Chico (California) Enterprise-Record. Wes Goldberg left his role covering the Golden State Warriors for the Mercury News. 
• Michigan Wolverines football radio broadcasters Jim Brandstatter and Dan Dierdorf announced their retirement at the end of the 2021 season. 
• Outkick added Glenn Guilbeau and Trey Wallace to cover the Southeastern Conference. Guilbeau was previously with The Advertiser in Lafayette, Louisiana. Wallace was previously with Rocky Top Insider. Dan Dakich joined Outkick to do a radio show. 
• The Philadelphia Inquirer added Andrea Canales as night sports editor. Paul Domowitch retired from covering the NFL for the Philadelphia Inquirer. 
• The Scarsdale (New York) Inquirer added Rob DiAntonio to cover sports. Todd Sliss moved from covering sports to news/features. 
• Sportico added Eric Jackson to cover sports business. He previously was with the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Randall Williams left Sportico. 
• TNT announced NHL broadcasters Brendan Burke, Darren Pang, Keith Jones, Jennifer Botterill, Tarik El-Bashir, Jackie Redmond, Anson Carter, Rick Tocchet, Paul Bissonnette, and Liam McHugh. Stan Van Gundy returned to TNT as an NBA analyst. 
• The Washington Post added Ella Brockway as a multiplatform sports editor and Candace Buckner as a sports columnist.
