APSE’s executive committee has unanimously approved the application of a student chapter for Oklahoma State University.
“We are excited to welcome OSU as our fourth official student chapter and look forward to supporting their efforts to have a vibrant presence on campus for sports journalism,” said former APSE president Tim Stephens, now chair of APSE’s student liaison committee.
Oklahoma State is APSE’s fourth student chapter, joining previously approved groups at Virginia Tech, Maryland and Ohio University.

Applications and criteria for membership for 2014-15 are available on the APSE website. The deadline for this academic year is Dec. 1.
