The Carmical Sports Media Institute at the University of Georgia is looking for a seasoned sports media pro to join its faculty.

The Clinical Assistant Professor in Sports Media will teach classes in the institute’s very popular undergraduate Sports Media Certificate program and an impending graduate program.

This professor also will help with the institute’s real-world learning initiatives. These include a partnership with The Associated Press through which students have traveled internationally, with faculty mentors, to cover two Paralympic Summer Games and a Women’s World Cup as credentialed writers and photojournalists.

If you have significant industry experience, a demonstrated desire to teach and at least a master’s degree, check the details at this link: https://www.ugajobsearch.com/postings/410344.

The application window will close on Jan. 31.
