NASCAR has joined the Associated Press Sports Editors 2024 Summer Conference in Charlotte, N.C., as platinum sponsor.
The auto racing sanctioning and operating company will be name sponsor for the event and will host a reception at the NASCAR Hall of Fame as part of the conference. The reception will be the evening of Friday, June 21.
The conference will be held June 20-22 at the Marriott SouthPark Hotel in Charlotte. The room rate is $174 per night.
Highlights of this year’s conference will include general sessions and workshops each day, honoring Bill Plaschke of the Los Angeles Times at the Red Smith Luncheon on Friday, June 21, and recognizing our best work from 2023 at the Awards Dinner on Saturday, June 22.
