NFL and NBA sideline reporter and New Orleans native Jennifer Hale will be the featured speaker at the APSE Summer Conference Keynote Luncheon in New Orleans on Tuesday, June 27.
Hale, who has a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Northwestern and a political science degree from LSU, has covered the NFL for Fox since 2011 and has covered the NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans from the sidelines and as a studio anchor since 2012. She is covering the NBA playoffs this postseason for TNT. Hale began her career as a political and investigative reporter/anchor.
Hale formed Sideline Pass in 2015 to mentor young women and aspiring journalists through outreaches and seminars at colleges across the country.
A native of New Orleans who grew up on the Gulf Coast of Alabama, Hale lives in New Orleans.
