How has the isolation of remote work taxed our mental health? And how has it affected diversity, and young journalists in areas such as training, mentoring, networking, and compensation? When locker rooms and practices are closed, how can reporters find the best stories? And how can editors assign them more effectively, and realistically? Pick up the phone, get on your feet and go to the source. And, use technology. Young reporters haven’t relied nearly as much on the locker room to be open as veteran reporters, and they can help teach everyone how to navigate storytelling without traditional access.
