APSE members will be gathering for our winter conference at the Doubletree Suites Orlando/Disney Springs on Feb. 19-23, when most judging for the APSE contest will take place.
Our winter conference with contest judging is one of the few opportunities during the year to network and discuss our industry with member sports journalists from around the country. The conference includes two membership meetings to discuss organizational business, planning for future events and recruit future leaders; and several social activities like cocktail parties, Thai Night and maybe even a mini golf tournament.
But most of the your time in Orlando will be spent in a group with at least two others reading the best work of sports journalism our members produced in 2022 and getting great ideas for 2023.
Hotel registration for the Doubletree Suites Orlando/Disney Springs is open. Please plan to arrive on Sunday, Feb. 19. Judging begins Monday, Feb. 20, and continues through Thursday, Feb. 23. Can’t stay for all four days? If you can come for two, you will still provide a great service to this organization and be inspired for the year ahead.
The deadline for the APSE group rate of $178 per night is Jan. 28, 2023.
