Due to scheduling conflicts with league offices in New York, as well as increasing concern regarding the growing COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, APSE will not be holding its annual Commissioners Meetings this spring.

It is APSE’s intent to resume the Commissioners Meetings in Spring 2021.

Usually conducted in April or May, the annual two-day event offers member sports editors and directors a chance to sit down with commissioners and other leaders of the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS and other organizations, a setting in which they’re able discuss issues relating to coverage of their respective sports, industry trends and more.

APSE has held these Commissioners Meetings every year for more than two decades in New York City, where most of the leagues’ offices are located. About two dozen APSE members typically attend.
