A few important notes
Participation: Editors from APSE-member outlets are welcome to attend these meetings. The meetings are not intended for reporters.
On the record/off the record: The meetings are on the record, with a few exceptions.
- Discussions about the industry and challenges we both face are the primary purpose of these meetings and those discussions have always been off the record. That remains true.
- The subject can ask to go off the record at any point, like any interview.
- For the NBA session, they’ve requested we start the meeting with a 15-minute off-the-record discussion about the industry issues before we go on the record.
Accommodations: Up to the individual.
Food: Provided as noted below.
