The final two section mandatory dates for the 2013 APSE Contest are Sunday, July 28 and Thursday, Nov. 14. Those dates were randomly drawn Jan. 1 via the website random.org by APSE contest chair and 1st vice president Mike Sherman.
The other section mandatory dates — Thursday, Feb. 28 and Sunday, April 14 — were randomly drawn at the APSE Convention in Detroit in June.
Dues must be paid to be eligible to compete in the annual APSE contest. For more information on dues and how to get a free member when you sign up, go here.
Judging will take place Saturday, March 1 to Wednesday, March 5 on the IUPUI campus in Indianapolis. If you are interested in judging, contact APSE 1st Vice President Mike Sherman at msherman@oklahoman.com.
Room rates are $139 per night at the Residence Inn (includes breakfast) and $129 at the Courtyard (does not include breakfast). A nearby shuttle runs regularly to the on-campus judging site.
