The 2014 Winter Meetings will be in Indianapolis March 1-5 with most of the meetings set for the Campus Center of IUPUI.
A vote is needed on the hotel. According to bylaws, this notice must be posted on the APSE website for 10 days before voting by the Executive Committee begins. Voting will open April 24 and close April 29. A notice will be sent to Executive Committee members April 24.
University Place Conference Center and Hotel, our hotel in 2011, is being converted to university housing and is not available.
The recommendation for 2014 is twofold with half of the rooms in one hotel and half in the other — Courtyard (by Marriott) at the Capitol and Residence Inn Canal. These hotels are across from each other and share a parking lot.
The rates:
Courtyard — $129 and does not include breakfast (an in-house bistro has breakfast for sale); kings and doubles are available
Residence Inn — $139 and includes breakfast. One queen bed and one queen pullout sofa in each room (no room has two beds)

Free parking for daily drive-ins
The hotels are within walking business of downtown
As voted on earlier, the Winter Meetings will return to Lake Buena Vista, Fla., in 2015.
