It is time to register for the 2026 summer convention from July 16-18 in Washington, D.C.
Here are some of the expected sessions and workshops:

+ How to maximize our most precious resource – time management
+ Best practices for FOIA requests
+ Going all in on high school sports coverage
+ Reporting with accuracy and respect on LGBTQ+ issues in sports
+ Best practices for vertical video
+ Where we’re at with NIL legislation?
In addition, we will celebrate Boston Globe columnist Dan Shaughnessy as the winner of the Red Smith Award and recognize the best work from around the country at our annual awards banquet.
The convention hotel will be the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Virginia.
