TideIllustrated.com is the Alabama affiliate of Rivals.com and is committed to covering Crimson Tide football, basketball and recruiting as well as other university sporting events.
The website’s publisher, Kelly Quinlin, has covered college athletics since 2005, serving as the beat writer for the Georgia Rivals affiliate UGASports.com (2005-07) before becoming the sports editor for the Marrietta Daily Journal (2007-09) and later moving back to Rivals where he runs the Georgia Tech, Cincinnati, South Florida, Mississippi State and Alabama sites. Tide Illustrated’s managing editor, Tony Tsoukalas, is a previous APSE award-winner who has been covering Alabama since 2016.
In its first year of taking over the Alabama Rivals site, Tide Illustrated has 3,100 subscribers and 24,000 daily visitors.
