President Lisa Wilson plans to ask APSE’s Executive Committee to consider a change in the bylaws intended to realign the organization’s regions. The change would absorb the Mid-Atlantic Region into the Northeast and Atlantic Coast regions and address consistent turnover in leadership in the Mid-Atlantic. The realignment was drafted by the Regions Committee and endorsed by the Futures Committee.

The bylaws amendment will be offered under Section 7. A 75-percent majority of the Executive Committee is needed for passage. Membership must be notified at least 10 days ahead of the vote through the APSE website.

Anyone with questions about the proposed amendment or the process should contact President Lisa Wilson at lisabellwilson46@gmail.com
