  • The Athletic added Diante Lee and Nate Tice to cover the NFL. 
  • The Cass County Star-Gazette in Beardstown, Ill., announced Jason Brockschmidt will succeed the retiring Don Chipman as sports editor in June. 
  • ESPN added Liz Finny as an MLB associate editor. She was previously with The Athletic. Jackson Thompson became an ESPN associate editor for the NBA. 
  • FOX named Joe Davis as the lead MLB play-by-play voice. Carli Lloyd became a FOX soccer analyst. 
  • The Courier Journal in Louisville, Ky., added Brooks Holton as recruiting and trending sports reporter. Cameron Teague left his role covering Louisville football for the Courier Journal to take a role covering entertainment for the Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch. Alexis Cubit joined the Courier Journal to cover U of L sports after previously covering Clemson for The State in Columbia, S.C.  
  • MLB added Will Aldrich to cover the Cincinnati Reds, Julia Kreuz to cover the Toronto Blue Jays, and Ethan Sands to cover the Atlanta Braves. Jesse Sanchez became director, talent development and diversity outreach-content.
  • NBC announced Mike Tirico will serve as play-by-play broadcaster and Melissa Stark as reporter with analyst Chris Collinsworth for “Sunday Night Football.” 
  • USA Today named Roxanna Scott as executive editor and vice president for USA Today Sports. Peter Barzilai became deputy managing editor for USA Today Sports. Parker Gabriel joined USA Today to cover the Denver Broncos after previously covering Nebraska for the Lincoln Journal Star.
