The Associated Press Sports Editors Winter Conference will take place in February in St. Petersburg, Fla. Here are the conference details:
Where: Hampton Inn and Suites in St. Petersburg, Fla.
When: Attendees should plan to arrive on Saturday, Feb. 15. Judging begins on Sunday, Feb. 16 and continues through Wednesday, Feb. 19.
Day by day
Saturday, Feb. 15
- 10 a.m.: Officers meeting. Park Room.
- Noon: Conference planning and lunch. Park Room.
- 4 p.m.: General membership meeting. Soreno Room.
- 7 p.m.: Cocktail reception at the 400 Beach Seafood & Tap House, downtown St. Petersburg.
Sunday, Feb. 16: Judging begins.
Monday, Feb. 17: Judging continues.
Tuesday, Feb. 18: Judging continues.
Wednesday, Feb. 19: Judging concludes and closing membership meeting. Soreno Room.
