The Philip Merrill College of Journalism and the Shirley Povich Chair for Sports Journalism invites you to a panel discussion: “Diversity in Sports Media: What Happened?”
 
When: Tuesday, October 26, 2010 7 to 9 p.m.

Where: Richard Eaton Broadcast Theater, 1st Floor Knight Hall, University of Maryland College Park

What: A lively and thorough discussion of diversity, or the lack thereof in the sports media, with a look at where we have been, where we are now and where we are going in the fast-changing world of today’s media.  Kevin Blackistone, the Shirley Povich Professor of Sports Journalism, AOL FanHouse columnist and ESPN “Around the Horn” panelist will moderate the discussion.  The panel will include:
