ON THE MOVE
>> Rich Sandomir, sports business reporter at the New York Times, has moved across the newsroom to the Obits desk. Rich started at The Times in 1991, originally under the wing of the sports editor Neil Amdur. Before then, in chronological order, he worked for Financial World magazine, Newsday (where we briefly crossed paths), Bantam Books and Sports Inc. magazine.
>> Golfweek was busy over the past month. John Turner is now the the Director of Audience Development and Bill Speros is the Social Media/News Strategist Manger.
>> Steve Ahillen is returning to the Knoxville News Sentinel as the environmental/outdoors reporter.
>> Jessika Morgan is the new Duke beat writer at The News & Observer.
>> Sean Quinton has been promoted to Sports Producer at the Seattle Times. He replaces Nick Eaton, who is the new Metro Producer at the Times.
>> Dan Spears is the new Assistant Managing Editor of the StarNews.
