We are coming up on some deadlines for those publications who are covering the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia.
You should already have a link from the USOC's Peggy Manter to enter your Press by Name for Sochi. This is the process where you put in the information for your staff that will cover the games. In case you do not have the link, here it is:
The deadline for submitting this form to the Sochi 2014 committee is Aug. 15. Please note there are very specific photo instructions that need to be completed and sent in with your form. If this isn't done correctly, there is a risk that you might not be accredited ahead of time and the staffers will need to get visas on their own. You should have received these instructions from the USOC office on or about June 10.
Invoices for housing payments should be coming soon. The first half of accommodations payment is due 30 days after you receive your invoice. Sept. 30 is the final due date for your second-half accommodations payment.
