I am a deadline oriented writer with a strong background in sports writing and copy editing, including audio and video (pod- and video-casts). I don’t stick to the typical 9-5 because news is being made 24 hours a day, so I am available to do what needs to be done as necessary – even if I’m not in the office or at a game.
I have a background in radio, in addition to print and digital journalism covering hard news and sports. I’m a skilled writer and typist (90+ wpm) and am completely comfortable taking on various tasks assigned from game stories, opinion, features and investigative work.
The ideal position for me would be one either centrally located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area or that would allow me the ability to telecommute and travel as needed.
