A sports copy editor/page designer position is available at the award-winning Idaho Statesman in Boise, one of the best cities in the country in which to live. The right candidate will go beyond helping us tell compelling stories in print, and tell them with interactivity and curation on multiple digital platforms. The right candidate will be driven by anticipating readers’ needs, building audiences with smart use of social media, being part of a team and embracing change and the latest technology. The right candidate will have experience at a daily newspaper, knowledge of current events on all levels and beyond sports and be a quick study of local geography, people and issues.The position will require working nights and weekends, a four-year college degree or equivalent knowledge and training.
