The APSE Great Lakes region meeting has been set for April 22-23 in Detroit and will include the Tigers-Rangers game at Comerica Park on April 22.
Sessions are tentatively scheduled to take place April 23 at the Detroit News. Specifics of the agenda are being finalized by region chair Jeff Kuehn, of the Oakland (Mich.) Press, and vice chair Eric Olson, of the Northwest Herald in Crystal Lake, Ill.
“Eric and I are on a mission to strengthen ties between sports editors in the region,” Kuehn said in a note to the region’s sports editors. “The region meeting is an important step.”
You do not need to be an APSE member to attend the meeting.
Tickets for the baseball game will be about $30. Lunch at the workshop will cost roughly $10.
