Sports editors attending the small newspaper caucus during the APSE convention next week in Boston are encouraged to bring along some of their best ideas to share with the group, whether they be print or digital productions.

Sharing best practices and exchanging favorite sections has helped the caucus in recent years, and we look forward to that again this year.

The small paper caucus, an annual part of the convention, will be led this year by Ben Brigandi, APSE third vice president and sports editor of the Williamsport (Pa.) Sun-Gazette, and Mary Byrne, deputy sports editor of the Associated Press. As in previous years, this is perhaps sports editors’ best chance to share their concerns in-person with the AP.
