The Northeast Region’s spring meeting will be April 13 at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn.
There is no charge for the meeting, which will include breakfast and lunch courtesy of Prof. Rich Hanley and our friends at Quinnipiac. Breakfast will be at 9 a.m. with a series of panel discussions to follow.
The agenda should conclude with the regional’s business meeting between 4 and 5 p.m. An informative and interactive agenda is scheduled, including presentations on multimedia approaches for smaller news outlets; reduced access, with a focus on the influence of team-run sites and the “Marshawn Lynch” effect; the local student chapter of AWSM discussing the perceived coverage of women’s sports; and more.
