By Jeff Rosen, Kansas City Star

The dates for this year’s APSE Commissioners Meetings are set for April 23-24 in New York City.

And if ever an event could sell itself, well, this might be it.

Where else will you find a sit-down with the most interesting man in the commissioner business, Roger Goodell of the NFL?

Or APSE’s first get-to-know-you session with Rob Manfred since he assumed his new role as commissioner of Major League Baseball?

If that’s not enough, NCAA president Mark Emmert is back on the agenda after a several-year absence, along with Adam Silver of the NBA, Gary Bettman of the NHL, Don Garber of MLS, Brian France of NASCAR and representatives from the USOC.

Just as important during our two days in New York City are the relationships and camaraderie fostered during, between and after the hour-and-a-half sessions. And the entertainment possibilities are endless, as anyone who’s attended in the past (or simply been to NYC) will attest.

If you’ve never joined us at the Commissioners Meetings, make this the year you attend. If you’ve attended previously, come again!

Here’s the complete itinerary. For more information, please contact me, Jeff Rosen, at jrosen@kcstar.com, or 816-234-4706 or 816-812-4571.
