Summary: I’m a Los Angeles-based reporter who has primarily covered the both NHL and MLB teams as well as UCLA and Big West sports for the last three years. I’ve covered a Stanley Cup Final, the Stanley Cup Playoffs, two NHL Stadium Series games, the MLB Playoffs, the NCAA Tournament, the Rose Bowl, the Holiday Bowl and been used as a contract writer by the Big West Conference and the American Century Championship for tournament coverage. My background is extensive with experience in radio, TV and Division I media relations. By combining my experiences from the various mediums, I’ve been able to adapt to a rapidly changing media climate. I’m able to tell stories through multiple platforms and engage audiences of several different demographics. An extremely versatile writer, I can write nearly everything from deadline gamers and thoroughly researched long-from pieces for national, regional and local audiences.
Current: Contributing to several publications as a freelance correspondent. My work has appeared on FOXSports.com, MSN.com, Golf.com, SI.com, PGATour.com, and in publications like the the Philadelphia Enquirer, the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Daily News and the Orange County Register. I’m available for any Southern California freelance assignments and willing to relocate for a staff position.
