Divisions have been determined for the 2018 APSE Contest.
As a reminder, APSE determined contest divisions differently this year. Instead of going by set in stone numbers (ex. Over 150,000, 75,000-150,000, etc.), the contest committee placed each organization into a category based on size. The largest 25 percent of organizations are in Category A, the next largest 25 percent are in Category B, the third largest 25 percent are in Category C, and the smallest 25 percent are in Category D.
Here is how the breakdown fell:
Category A: Over-87,000 circulation (46 organizations)
Category B: 31,000-86,999 circulation (46 organizations)
Category C: 14,800-30,999 circulation (46 organizations)
Category D: Under-14,800 circulation (46 organizations)
Organizations are allowed to compete in a higher category (with larger organizations) if they choose. If you wish to “play up,” let Todd Adams know at toddadams52@hotmail.com.
